HAPPY WORLD TOURISM DAY (27th OCT) \(´▽`)/

Heheh telat yah? Sebenernya yang telat itu gue yg ngepost nya, kemaren sih gue inget cuma belum aja ada ideas buat bikin postnya hihihi *innocent smile*

Honestly for 3yrs ive been in Tourism World i just knew that every 27th Oct is World Tourism Day, i know it's sounds fool but better knowing late then never knows right ?

Well, for this years the celebration of  12th WTD is on Maspalomas, Spain. And it was decide by the intl' society for tourism wold which is United Nation of World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)

And personally, id really support our local tourism in Indonesia. Because im soooo proud with what weve now. We have spot for diving, snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, sailing, surfing and a lot things we could do with an awesome scenery surround us.

Now, id like to show you some " green scenery" for you guys as a peace seeker to relax for awhile and refresh from your hectic times, here we go ..

1. Toba Lake, Medan , North Sumatera

Horas bah ! Ive  a lot of friends from Bataknese (a tribe from North Sumatera) , and i really envy if when they back to their hometown they could visit one of this famous lake. What makes it peacefull, it's a quite places and have an uniqueness which is  an island in the middle of the lake, named as Samosir Islands. It also has its own stories/ legend(The Legend of Toba Lake) which also famous. And it's become the largest lake in Indonesia and South East Asia. It's made from a very powerfull volcano eruption in ice age (some of archeolog said so).

2. Sianok Canyon ( Ngarai Sianok), West Sumatera

One of  a "green" area which looks so peacefull
It is a steep valley (cliff) located in the border town of Bukittinggi, , Agam district, West Sumatra. Sianok canyon in its gorge about 100 m, stretches along 15 km with a width of about 200 m, and is part of break that separates the island of Sumatra. You able also to canoeing along Batang Sianok and it takes about 3,5 hours. And along the side of this canyon you also able to see some animals such a deer, siamang (kind of monkeys) , Monyet ekor panjang or monkey with long tails (Macaca fascicularis). And you might able also find a rare flower which is Raflesia Arnoldi.

3. Sampireun Village , Garut , West Java.

Allright, now scrolling into the Java Island, there is a resort which built above the lake with the Sundanese atmosphere. It's abouth 6 hours from Jakarta. Surrounded by the lake itself and some green views but it's far from the hectic city, i htinkn its suitable for you as a peacefull seekers. You able to visit with family, or even just you and yourself. Kind of accomodation here is mostly resort above the water/lake. Made from bamboo, it's gives some special touch like traditional house of Indonesian.

4. Kaliurang , Jogjakarta

Move to the west, please welcomed another peacefull places to stay, which is Kaliurang. Located in the north of  Jogjakarta. Surrounded by mountain, it has a cold atmosphere, but i think it's such heavenly. Some of interesting places there is Tlaga Putri (Tlogo Putri).

5. Ubud , Bali

The Queen of Village, Quite, Green, Peacefull, The Center of Culture, is words that could describe about this place, and maybe the intl' world knows exaclty the beauth of this places. As a good place to stay, because it's located between the rice field and some forest. Besides that, it's also known for its art and culture, and cant be seperated with the galleries which spread in this area. There is also Ubud Art Markets, which sells alla bout Balinese Souvenir, yeah it's about culture and arts. And the newest news is Julia Roberts who took some scene on her films, Eat,Pray &Love in this place, yes... in Ubud :)

Sometimes goin somewhere to lookin for relax it's so pricelles, after your hectic days, nature will treats you out from you stressed and everything burdened you. It's just in silence, that's called peacefull ( ̄ー ̄)
And it's all in here .. in Indonesia

Warmly Regards,

Claudia - The Peacefull Seeker-
