Gunung Munara : A little throwback

16.56

The last two days i tried to make this blog cool for visualization , and a proper look as well.

Hope you loves my works as i do 😊

This post is actually a little throwback , and im just so late to put it here, so to make it up,please allow me to sharing a glimpse of my short journey to not so a high mountain (or hill ?) near my living places, there we go ...

Gunung Munara

Based on its geography it's located in Bogor , i was visit it around July 2017, with my former hike buddy, Ka Astra (before she having kid of course), and her friend, Ka Putri.

It's actually just one day hike, and not much preparation as we just go by the day.

So, we started to meet at Terminal Depok, since we were heading to Parung and reach the place.

We took Angkot to Pasar Parung and change to another Angkot that direct us into Rumpin.

Sorry for not so complete details and costing , since i need to recall all the memories but im sure you wont find any difficulties , it was really clear and a common place to visit nowdays.

But this blog provides all the info in complete packs - go check this out Native Indonesia : How to get to Munara Hill ?

The entrance fee is actually not organized yet, so we pay for many times to the local people. It's kinda unofficially entrance fee , more like donations to locals or something.

Length to hike is around 30min for slow hike and or less (if you used to run).

Well, our mistake was comin in afternoon when sun are exactly above us, and its really hot for Godsake,

It's a limestone hill (bukit kapur), so the soil is very dusty and hot during daylight.

It has many top to climb, but mostly it didnt provides large space for people. We need to wait for other to climb down and it's hundreds times hotter!

I gave up to climb higher so just have a break while cooling myself under a tree haha.

Fyi, this places is actually a site that sacred to local people since i found many tomb that used to a place to pray.

We were go down before dark and come back using the same transport as we used to go.

Not bad for a weekend gateway!
