Sebagai anak muda, kata "nongkrong" itu udah gak asing kali yah , malah jadi kegiatan rutin selain ngampus/ sekolah.

Dan gak hanya remaja ibukota aja lohh yang demen ngabisin waktu buat nongkrong in some places, tapi juga beberapa young-ster yang ada di daerah juga demen nongkrong.

Salah satu nya young-ster dari kota Jogja . Yap, i think most of the population of this city is dominated from students in college or school. Terutama anak kuliahan pasti banyak bgt dikota ini, so it's known as The City of Education.

Nah gue mau ngerangkum tempat nongkrong asik, murah, terjangkau ,tapi seru di kota Jogja, here they are..

1. Malioboro

Kawasan ini selalu ramai hampir setiap hari, terutama pada malam hari. Saat malam Minggu tiba, Malioboro bakal semakin penuh sesak oleh turis dan pastinya anak muda Yogya.

Sambil menikmati suasana malam Kota Yogya, lo bisa berbelanja aneka barang yang dijajakkan penjual di sepanjang Malioboro. Mulai dari gelang, kalung, hingga kain batik ada di sini. Kalau ingin menikmati malam Minggu yang berbeda, pelancong juga bisa naik delman yang ada di pinggiran Jalan Malioboro. Soal harga gak perlu kuatir, lo bisa mendapatkan harga miring, asal jangan  lupa menawar ;p

2. House of Raminten

Tempat makan nyentrik ini jadi primadona baru kuliner di Yogya. Disebut nyentrik karena punya banyak barang unik, seperti kereta kencana dan ornamen-ornamen lain. Para pelayan wanita di House of Raminten juga mengenakan kemben batik yang sangat khas Yogya.

Tempat makan ini terletak di Jl FM Noto No 7 Kotabaru, Yogyakarta. Menu yang disajikan pun beragam, tentunya mayoritas khas Jawa Tengah. Harganya murah coyy, mulai dari Rp 1.000-25.000 aja! House of Raminten jadi pilihan anak muda Yogya untuk nongkrong karena buka nonstop 24 jam (macem Mekdihnya Jogja deh)

3. Cafe Momento

Kafe Momento adalah tempat makan dengan atmosfer yang nice. Terletak di Jl Pandean Sari Blok IV No 10, Sleman, Yogyakarta, kafe ini sering jadi tempat diadakannya pertunjukan musik. Koneksi internet juga tersedia, so lo bisa menikmati hidangan sambil surfing di dunia maya.

Untuk menu beragam dengan rasa yang oke, Kafe Momento jg punya range harga cukup murah. Ssst, kafe ini terkenal dengan hidangan penutupnya yaitu Choco Melt. Katanya, untuk cake cokelat yang lumer di dalamnya ditambah eskrim vanila yang lembut, harga Choco Melt ini sangat terjangkau di kantong backpacker. Manstappp kan?

4. Soto Sulung Stasiun Tugu

Soto ini sudah termashyur di kalangan wisatawan maupun penduduk Yogya itu sendiri. Warung soto sulung ini terletak di bagian selatan Stasiun Tugu, dan sudah ada sejak tahun 1970!

Hanya terdapat dua menu di warung soto ini, yaitu Soto Daging dan Soto Campur. Anda bisa meminta tambahan telur rebus sesuai selera. Nasi bungkus pun tersedia terpisah dengan sotonya. Harganya pun terjangkau, yaitu Rp 9.000 untuk soto daging dan Rp 6.000 untuk soto campur. Eits, walaupun harganya murah, citarasa soto sulung ini katanya enak bangettt!

5. Waroeng Kopi Semesta

Kalau Anda suka nongkrong sambil ngopi, inilah tempat wajib untuk dikunjungi. Waroeng Kopi Semesta terletak di Jl Abu Bakar Ali No 2, Kotabaru, Yogyakarta. Kedai kedua milik Kopi Blandongan Grup ini hanya punya tiga jenis kopi: kopi hitam, kopi susu, dan kopi spesial Semesta. Dan kabar baiknya adalah warkop ini buka 24 hours boooo


6. Artemy Italian Gelato

Artemy Italian Gelato adalah kafe yang cocok untuk lo gelato ice cream lovers. Kafe ini punya banyak pilihan gelato yang bisa lo pilih. Gak hanya eskrim, Artemy juga menyediakan snack ringan yang bisa mengisi perut lo saat nongkrong.

Salah satu daya pikat Artemy itu terletak pada interior dalam kafe. Artemy memanfaatkan berbagai peralatan untuk pembuatan kopi sebagai pajangan.Beberapa gelas unik dan botol-botol lucu pun ditata dengan apik. Kesan nyaman pun langsung terpancar begitu elo berada di dalamnya. Ibarat nongkrong Starbucks lah yahh :)

7. Bakso Mataram depan Fak. Kehutanan UGM

Dengan modal cuma ceban alias 10ribu lo udah bisa makan bakso rusuk and mie ayamnya yg dijamin rasa dan harga rasa surga mahasiswa banget dah ehhehe

8. Alun alun Kidul

Tempatnya lebih ke warung lesehan yg ada atmosfer romantisnya tapi kantong tetep terjaga wkwk

9. Angkringan Kadipaten

Lokasinya ada di depan pos kamling (cakruk) . Jam bukanya itu lepas magrib, menjelang malem lah yah,nah makanan andalannya yah apalgi kalo bukan nasi kucing wkwk tapi dijamin halal kok hihihih

Nah kurang  lebih itu beberaapa tempat nongkrong yg siang,sore,malem on terussss ehehe. Gue rasa emang pesona  Jogja tuh bener never ending deh yah :D

A quoi ca sert l'amour

It's soar high ..

arrogantly ...

but as a proof ..

that i was in Paris ..

Jogja..

The City of Culture , traditions , when manners high valued .

The City of Knowledge , tourism iconic.

Yeaaah same as BALI i never ever get bored with its thousand charm. Warm outside cute inside .

Last time i was there is on 2009 with all my friends when i was in 1st grade on my VHS.

Even just shopped,and visits the central of the city but it's still AWESOME.

Continued my stories,what brings me to there yesterday is my SHORT TRIP to my hometown. Yeah one things must noted is IT'S A STRUGGLE to reached that city from SOLO.

I took Prameks (Prambanan Ekspress) from Solo Balapan at 16.15 and the tickets is 10rb which is worth it for the train. And i imagined it was like a commuterline in Jakarta, maybe better ( 7rb = 10rb ). But it's wrong!! First NO AC then it was like an - economy better- train at least no one sit in the rooftop of the train but there's no special railway coach for women , full , stuffy , no air and many shittly things.

I stood up, sat , slept , awoke. And  i didnt arrived yet .

At 4.30 i arrived at Tugu Station and i toookk a deeepp breathhh.

The good news we were arrived

The bad news is train to return back only till 5.30.

Let me think what we could do for an hour in Jogja ?? N.O.T.H.I.N.G

We hopeless,mad and hungry *eh?

But  nothing cant stopped us (y)

I bought a bag,  a bracelet that i wanted for so long, and just a few small stuff. So did my mom ;)

Jogja at saturday night is more colorfull :)) youngster , foreigner , natives all blend in one small road. Yeah, languages isnt a problem to socialize isnt it?




Finally we return back to Solo by Trans Jogja with 1A route to the Prambanan terminal (fyi , based on the map ive read it's the closest terminal to take a bus to Solo )

But we get off from the bus isnt at terminal because the co driver inform me that it's more easier to take the bus in there. The time is 7 pm i sat in side of the road waitin the bus and with a starving stomach, yea it's so pathetic

And i got the full bus i ever get. Yea it's a half nightmare.

Our supper for dinner is ' Angkringan ' near my village. Most of us eat roughly lol

Arrived at my village at 9.30pm , you know i took becak to got inside and as long as the way i just how dark it is and one light source is only A MOON. And luckily that night moon shoneee so brightlly yeaahh, if it wasnt i think we gonna lost.

And i was return to Jakarta on Sunday evening eww times flies so fast there but im thankful for the short vacation ive. It's such a spring in the middle my hectic days.

Jakarta known in an international world as Indonesia's Big City.

Many stories comes from this city, and also as Indonesian history.








The history of Jakarta itself starts from the small port in the north of Ciliwung River ( http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ci_Liwung ) a place named Sunda Kelapa ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunda_Kelapa ) or in Bahasa we said a placed plant a coconut tree.

It was a famous port and had been known by all trader from all over the world. Such an European, China , Arabian. In addition the location of Indonesia in the middle of trade areas and  potentially used as transit place. Thats why in some Indonesian culture has a touch of foreign culture, like Arabian and Chinnese. And one of reason also why in Indonesia have many belief and region.

Back to the port, it was under control by Padjajaran kingdom, one of ancient kindom who ruled in Java island.



But on 22 June 1527 the port was defeated by Sultan Fathillah which is as that time ruled the kingdom of Demak. Demak (1475–1548) itself is one of big Moslems Kingdom at North Beach of Java. So the name of the port was changed to be JAYAKARTA , the named of prince who ruled in Banten, but some people called Jakarta . And untill nowdays in every 22nd June is celebrate as Jakarta Birthday

On 30th May 1619 the port was conquered by Dutch and the named of the port was changed into BATAVIA and annouced officially by the 1st governor general Jan Pieter Zoen Coen. It's applied during the colonization in Indonesia.

The named of Batavia is derived from " Bataviaren" the name of origin ancestor of Dutch and was firstly introduced by the dutch soldier.

Since that time the port was become more famous and become an enterance gate for Indonesian with the outer world and also become of the success places for trading.

And on 10th December 1942, after The Dutch lost his power in Java and The Japanese came to Indonesia with the same purpose also to take over the nation, the port was changed its name into JAKARTA because it's comes from one of the fort of Batavia bastion.

After the Independence era, in 1945 Jakarta is choosed as the capital city of the nation and grows as a metropolitan city till now, become the center of Goverment, Economy Activities, Intl' Bussiness and also Arts and Culture. For the regonal administrative, Jakarta divided into 6 municipalities which is East Jakarta , West Jakarta , South Jakarta ,North Jakarta and a Thousand Islands (Pulau Seribu) and headed by one governor who choosen by period.

Jakarta nowdays known as The Never Sleep City which always "keep alive" even in the late of night. Surrounded by a high building and many skycrapper, Jakarta become on of The Biggest City in Indonesia and a landmark for our nation.

Selamat siang sodara -sodara , beruntunglah kalian siang ini gue sedang gak konslet. Jadi dapat dipastikan postingan kali ini dapat bermanfaat bagi beberapa dari kalian :)

Gue kali ini mau nge-shared aja tips-tips yg dibutuhin sama para Tour Guide or Tour Leader yang bener-bener masih baru banget dalam hal Guiding / Pemanduan.

Bukannya sok menggurui  apa gimana cuma gue pengen berbagi ilmu aja nih dari hampir 3 tahun gue ada di dunia Tourism specially dunia tour.

Bagi yang belom tau background gue apa ( just in case you're wondering why i'm at tourism world) , gue sekolah di SMK pariwisata jurusan Travel . Hmm first time gue melakukan pemanduan (diluar pelajaran guiding yah ) which is waktu gue umur 16 tahun kelas 1 smester dua. Sebelumnya gue cuma praktek dikelas pas pelajaran guiding itupun juga jarang-jarang bgt. Nah gue bener-bener gak ada bayangan apa aja yg akan gue lakuin (pastinya setelah guiding).Nah justru itu gue pengen berbagi cerita pengalaman tour gue skaligus tips adn trick kalo in some cases lo bingung mau ngapain.

What should you know  ?

First, lo mesti tau, rombongan mana yg akan lo bawa apakah anak SD/SMP/SMA. Selain itu juga dari sekolah mana, swasta kah or negeri , madrasah atau sekolah katolik. Karena percaya apa enggak, itu berpengaruh loh dalam perilaku mereka dan gimana lo ngadepin mereka. Gue emang gak terlalu expert banget dan gue biasa ngehandle anak SD -SMP doang, belum sampe SMA. Nah cuma dari hal sepele seperti itu gue bisa tau kalo anak dari sekolah swasta apalagi dari Jakarta mereka gak gampang terima orang baru. Intinya lo mesti pinter-pinter ngambil attention mereka. Tapi biasanya juga anak-anak dari sekolah swasta itu lebih "high" pergaulannya. Jadi yah lo mesti turn into 'orang paling gaol and apdet sejagad raya' apalgi dapet anak SMP swasta, posisikan diri lo sebagai TEMEN bukan seorang stranger yg berusaha ngejelasin sejarah secara detil untuk mereka. Inget lo TOUR GUIDE bukan GURU SEJARAH. Beda lagi sm anak sekolah negeri, mereka basicly welcome us warmly ,tapi tingkat kenakalan mereka jangan salah, kadang-kadang bisa beribet. Lo mesti aware sm mereka, jangan sampe ada kerusakan barang di objek gara-gara tamu kita.Hindarin banget deh.

Second , lo mesti tau route tour lo kemana aja. Nah ini yang jelas paling penting. Lo tuh ibarat peta mereka. Masa kalo mereka tanya soal objek lo malah nanya ke supir ?? Bukannya gaboleh cuma terkadang bisa ngakibatin si supir jadi nyepelein kita. Tergantung jenis supirnya juga sih. Ada yg kayak bapak lo, temen lo, 'guide' lo , dan juga ada yg annoyed. Jadi berusahalah untuk jadi "sumber informasi" bagi tamu lo. Nah disini lo juga mesti paham jalan-jalan protokol mana yg akan lo lewatin. Cause, dari situ lo bisa dapet bahan passing sight ketika lo kehabisan bahan cerita / guiding lo.

Third , itinerary secara keseluruhan. Kapan lunch, dimana ,lunch apa semua hal yang bersifat teknis. Misalnya lo ngunjungin Ancol, apa ada acara dari sekolahnya, apa acara games, atau malah kita yang suruh bikin games ? who knows? semua itu bisa aja terjadi. Jadi mending dari H-2 lo udah tau semua detil teknis pas tour berlangsung.

Yang pasti banget lo harus tau rekan sesama TOUR GUIDE lo dalam sebuah perjalanan tour and be nice to them :)



First, cari bahan guiding. Gausah lo print sampe 5 lembar 10 lembar. Otak lo gak bakalan nyampe deh ngafalin semuanya itu dalam semalem dan gak semua yg lo afalin akan lo jadiin bahan pemanduan.Cukup inget aja nama tempatnya kapan berdirinya isinya atau objects of interestnya apa aja dan cerita-cerita unik tentang objek tersebut , thats all. Tapi gue juga ga bilang gaboleh ngafalin secara full and total hanya lebih efisien aja kalo lo ambil pointnya.

Second, jokes and some fun games. Even lo ga disuruh bikin acara games, tapi ini bisa jadi senjata ampuh buat ice breaking or narik attention mereka. Gak selama perjalanan kan lo guiding, mereka juga gabakal nangkep semuanya. Sediain lah beberapa teka-teki , jokes games yang pastinya gampang dimengerti and gampang dilakuin karna lo gapunya lapak dan waktu yg terlalu lama.

Third, istirahat yg cukup. You'll gonna have a long tired day tommorow :)

1. Pulpen
2. Notes kecil
3. Tissue
4. Candy
5. Perfume (for girls specially)
6. Isi pulsa, charge battery

ps : you'll know the function if you already be the guide tommorow ;;)

Oke sejauh ini sih itu udah gue shared apa yg gue lakuin selama gue jadii Tour Guide or even a Tour Leader. Tapi cases nya beda lagi kalo lo bawa tour yang nginep apalagi sampe overland. Lo mesti extra kerja keras lagi. Di objek hotel apalagi di bus yooure the leader man, tanggung jawab sama good manner perlu banget ditunjukin sebgai seorang Guide. Terlebih kalo emang o punya kepribadian yg warm and friendly :)

Mungkin banyak yg masih perlu ditambahin , tapi bakal selalu gue re-post kok kalo ada update-an yg terbaru or something's i forgot :)
